ARK has a variety of services that would be helpful to an educational establishment. Of the most requested service is the Weekly Bell Testing, if you were to use this service you would have strong assurance that your alarm systems are fully operational. The benefit of this is that you will no longer have to train staff, you and your staff can stay focused on the school your staff and pupil.

Another service that is often used is Open and Lock where we send mobile patrol officers to attend at agreed times to unlock or lock up your premises and therefore remove the risk to a member of your staff doing these duties on their own.

Also offered by ARK is the Alarm Response & Key Holding service which is used in the event of an alarm activation. ARK will send one of our officers who will go to your premise determine the cause of the alarm and issue any appropriate actions e.g. filing a report with the police. ARK will also provide a report of the alarm and actions for you to review.

BGB can provide external barriers and perimeter solutions that can secure the verges of the facility with Fencing that is tailored to buildings individual needs, i.e. we can also make our traditional solutions ‘smart,’ by incorporating technologies such as RFID which could be programmed to only grant access to authorized personnel. BGB also has a variety of Gates (tracked sliding, swing, bi-fold and cantilever) to meet the needs of school or educator.

On the external of your building, BGB can supply and fit Roller Shutters which will dramatically improve security whilst reducing the possibility of an after-hours break-in.

Cannon Fire Protection can provide Water Mists to environments that need protecting in an environment where covering the assets in water or other flame suppression liquid is not possible, as it would cause further damage (such as IT Classrooms and server rooms).

We also provide equipment to schools and colleges such as, ANSUL R-102 systems which in the event of a kitchen-fire the which is fitted above cookers and will put the fire out before it has a chance to do damage and spread around the area/building.

VRC can externally monitor existing CCTV equipment cameras with their CCTV Monitoring which could be used in tangent with other powerful tools such as ANPR (automatic registration plate recognition), this could be set up so that it kept a log of all vehicles. This technology could be used to highlight unknown/new vehicles as well as remembering unwanted visitors.

VRC’s Visual Verification and Fire & Intruder Monitoring is able to visually verify your intruder & fire alarms saving you money on call outs for false alarms and ensuring genuine alarms can be visually confirmed before the police or fire service are dispatched.
