Coronavirus Statement from APG

The COVID-19 pandemic has had unprecedented effects on communities and families in the UK, and around the world. During this difficult time, APG is continuing to do everything in our power to protect our team, our customers and maintain operational standards as far as is practical.

We understand our essential role in protecting the wellbeing of our customers and staff nationwide. APG is monitoring the situation daily, planning for all possibilities, adhering to the guidelines set out by the government, Public Health England and Health & Safety Executive. All businesses in the Asset Protection Group has taken the necessary, critical steps to tackle the spread of the virus and support the NHS, responding promptly as the situation continues to evolve and change.

Cannon Fire Protection

Cannon Fire’s engineers remain available, in line with the recommendations of the Fire Industry Authority (FIA), to complete PPM and remedial visits. We fully understand the importance and the critical nature of these visits during this difficult time.

VRC

VRC is also following the advice of the National Security Inspectorate (NSI), continuing to provide services to all customers in critical and non-critical institutions and businesses as appropriate. VRC is dedicated to the safety and security of all our customers’ premises and assets.

ARK

ARK is following Security Industry Authority (SIA) advice, continuing to provide essential security to all customers both in critical and non-critical infrastructures. We doing all that’s possible to ensure the safety and security of homes and businesses across the UK.

Cannon Fire Sprinklers

All our customers will continue to have access to all CFS services including 24-hour emergency call out and pre-planned maintenance. Systems must maintain compliance to the appropriate British Standards. As such, we strongly recommend our customers continue with all arranged maintenance plans and our engineers are available to fulfil these requirements.

Boundary Gate and Barrier

The BGB office is now closed, the phone lines have been redirected to our management team, who are working remotely and remain available during normal working hours. For sites that are essential, we have an emergency critical response team that can attend on a 24-hour emergency basis.
