Employees from across the Group have voted for the Make-a-Wish Charity
Employees from across the group (APG, Cannon, VRC & ARK) have voted to choose Make-A-Wish as our chosen charity for the year 2019. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a non-profit organization that arranges experiences described as “wishes” to children diagnosed with critical illnesses. In order to qualify for a wish, the child must be between the ages of 2 and 17 years old.

Charity is part of our group culture as it is very important to give to the less fortunate. In this case, we will be able to contribute to the amazing work that the Make-A-Wish Foundation does. This is a very worthy charity with a truly great cause & we are looking forward to supporting the charity as a group.

In 2018, we climbed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, we raised over £1500. The money we raised went to Marie Curie , Ollerton Memory Café & Mayflower Sanctuary in Bawtry.
We are planning to do various fund-raising activities throughout the year 2019. Additionally, we will be raising funds and donating to Make-A-Wish in November/December time. To raise funds we will be doing various activities such as dress-down-days where employees will have to donate a £1 to come to work in casual clothes, there will also be larger fundraising events, like the Yorkshire 3 Peaks.
